7UP Virtual Garden
To bring the campaign “Nature Is Closer Than You Think” to life, 7UP created a downloadable weather widget that sat on users’ desktops. The functional utility reacted according to real-time weather updates and the time of day, allowing users to plant flowers, watch them grow, and send to friends once fully blossomed.
The Virtual Garden could be downloaded from a 3D website, which was live in numerous international markets. Upon arrival, an anaimation made it appear like the users’ screen was being ripped away as they traveled though their computer to discover the circuitry was covered in fauna.
